Irfaan Adamally BSc (Hons) Optometry, MCOptom, Prof Cert Glaucoma,
I graduated from Bradford University with 1st class honours in 1999 and completed my pre-registration training at Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital in 2000. After qualifying I worked mainly in hospital clinics and was promoted to principle Optometrist in 2005. I have extensive experience in specialist areas of Optometry having worked in eye casualty, laser clinics, fitted complex contact lenses including to children and managed eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma.
I married in 2009 and moved to London and took over M. Lawrence Optometrists, a practice which shared a similar ethos of clinical excellence. I have since completed extensive post-graduate training with the British Assocation of Behavioural Optometrists and am accredited to offer Optometric vision therapy for visual dysfunctions such as those found in Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Strabismus and Amblyopia.
I maintain a strong interest in managing eye disease and have been awarded post-graduate certifications in glaucoma and therapeutics meaning that I can diagnose and treat many eye problems.
As a member of the British Contact Lens Association I continues to stay up to date with the latest advances in contact lens technology including orthokeratology for myopia control.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with our 3 year old son and cooking dishes from around the world.
I’m Carole with an ‘e’ and have been around forever! Formerly with Mrs Lawrence and since 2009 with Mr Adamally, as practice manager.
I mostly deal with the financial side of the practice, accounts etc… but am always willing to help out wherever needed. I enjoy meeting and talking with patients, many of whom, I have known for a number of years and watched their families grow up.
When not in Constitutional Buildings, I can be found either in the garden / out on my bike / down the allotment or pursing my long standing passion for relief printing and sketching. On a good day I may even make some jam…
Everyone calls me Fabi and I’ve worked here for nearly 6 years but have been in East Grinstead for over 25. As office manager I thoroughly enjoy my job. Every day is different and a new challenge. I love reading, history and languages.
I’m 40 years old and mum of 2 girls. I’ve been here for 2 years. Love the atmosphere and working here. Outside work I enjoy cross-stitch and going out with my kids.
